The
original vision for this project was much larger then the result.
In
anticipation of submitting the score for an ASCAP composing contest in
1997, I crunched the major sections together although they weren't
fully developed in order to meet the deadline. That score plays out to
between 11-12 minutes. As it is unfinished, I will share some clips
starting after the first few minutes.
Please
excuse
the somewhat mechanized MIDI recording (As I only have two hands
and can't play strings...yet...I could only conduct my laptop!) These
clips were recorded in 1997 onto cassette for the purposes of
double-checking my score. And the hiss...jesum crow! Only in 2010 did I
make a digital copy of that 12+ year-old tape.
